AIRPORT INCIDENT: NPF RECEIVES PETITION FROM NCAA ON UNRULY BEHAVIOUR, OBSTRUCTION OF SAFE OPERATIONS OF AIRCRAFT.

As IGP Directs Airport Police Command to Investigate The Nigeria Police Force has received an official petition from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) over an alleged incident involving Mr. Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (popularly known as KWAM 1). He is accused of engaging in unruly conduct that allegedly obstructed the safe operation of an aircraft, in violation of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations, 2023 following a reported incident on 5 August 2025 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja . In response, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM , has directed the Commissioner of Police, Airport Command , to immediately commence a thorough investigation into the matter, to unravel the circumstances which led to the ugly incident and ensure justice is served accordingly. Airport Imbroglio: Ayinde Marshall Gets Six Months Ban

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has effectively banned Fuji  Musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshall K1 from flying from any Nigerian Airport for the next six Months . Michael Achimugu, the NCAA’s director of public affairs and consumer protection, announced the no fly ban on the musician during a press briefing on Thursday August 7, 2025 , a direct response to the musicians action and altercation with Crew of Value Jet and officials at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja  on Wednesday which nearly resulted into a major aviation disaster. According to him ,"the passenger is going to be blacklisted for the next six months flying in Nigeria."
