OGUN NNPP CONDOLES GOV. DAPO ABIODUN, APC ON SUDDEN DEMISE OF OLADUNJOYE



The Ogun State Chapter of New Nigeria People's Party under the leadership of Chief Gabriel Somoye commiserate with the Governor of OGUN State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun on the sudden demise of Mr. Oladunjoye the Ogun State APC PRO.

In a statement signed by the Ogun State Secretary of NNPP, Hon. Mrs  Senami Agboyinu Wheto,the party commiserate with the entire family of APC and Ogun State Government on the sudden death of one of the Frontline leaders of APC in Ogun State.

It is on record that the deceased Oladunjoye played a pivotal role in inter party relationship in Ogun State.

The New Nigeria People's Party NNPP hereby share the grief of the sudden death of Mr. Olatunde Oladunjoye in his prime.

While wishing Oladunjoye a peaceful rest in the blossom of the Almighty, we pray that God grant his immediate family and the entire family of APC in Ogun State the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.

Airport Imbroglio: Ayinde Marshall Gets Six Months Ban

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has effectively banned Fuji  Musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshall K1 from flying from any Nigerian Airport for the next six Months . Michael Achimugu, the NCAA’s director of public affairs and consumer protection, announced the no fly ban on the musician during a press briefing on Thursday August 7, 2025 , a direct response to the musicians action and altercation with Crew of Value Jet and officials at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja  on Wednesday which nearly resulted into a major aviation disaster. According to him ,"the passenger is going to be blacklisted for the next six months flying in Nigeria." Concerns Over Plan by Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas to Announce Local Government Sole Administrators.

Concerns have surfaced regarding an alleged plan by Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, the Sole Administrator of Rivers State appointed by President Bola Tinubu, to announce new Local Government Area (LGA) Administrators on Monday, March 24, 2025. This purported move has sparked alarm, as it appears to contravene both the Nigerian Constitution and a recent Supreme Court judgment affirming the autonomy of LGAs.  The Nigerian Constitution, under Section 7, explicitly mandates that local governments must be governed by democratically elected councils. This provision ensures that grassroots governance remains accountable to the people.
