Over 500 Women Trains on Vocational And Skills in Ilupeju ACDC
Not less than 500 women and girls have been taken through vocational training and business skills to upscale their wellbeing by the Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation in Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee, Obantoko Abeokuta Ogun State.
Cross Section of the Participants st the TrainingThe Program which facilitated by the Dapo Wahaab Foundation trained over 500 women and girls from 50 Communities under Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee in Odeda local government areas in Ogun State began intensive vocational skills and business trainings in Kebotash Hotel, Baabo, Ilugun, Obantoko, Abeokuta, with a mandatory apprenticeship opportunity for all beneficiaries.
Section of Another Trainings at the SeminarAccording to him, the Chairman Dapo Wahaab Foundation, Asiwaju Dapo Wahaab said the training is scheduled to hold for a hole day and he noted that all beneficiaries who successfully completed the training will be awarded with certificate of participants.
"I am pleased about this project because I am really enthusiastic about women and girls empowerment as an empowered women is a powerful woman. When we empower a woman, we ensure her children's education, reduce the abuse caused by poverty, and ensure she is critical for increasing women's self-esteem, ability to make their own decisions, and right to influence social change for themselves and others", He started.
Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation is a non-profit organization Ogun State, that aims to empower underserved women and young girls from underprivileged communities in around Abeokuta and Ogun State at large as part of an entrepreneurship development initiative to provide empowerment opportunities to women and young girls throughout the State.
The Chairman Ilupeju Obantoko ACDC, Oloye Dimeji Kehinde Infront of Participants as the Training going onEarlier, in his Welcome Address, the Chairman Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee (ACDC), Oloye Dimeji Kehinde said he's thrilled to announce the training program for over 500 women and girls from all over 50 Communities in Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee, Powered by the Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation also facilitated by Asiwaju Dapo Wahaab Foundation.
The Facilitator and Chairman Dapo Wahaab Foundation, Asiwaju Dapo WahaabHe said, the purpose of the program is to empower women with skills and knowledge in Leadership and entrepreneurship from age 18-45 years. It's designed to equip women with the tools and expertise they need to succeed, likely with the goal of promoting personal and community development.
