Over 500 Women Trains on Vocational And Skills in Ilupeju ACDC



Not less than 500 women and girls have been taken through vocational training and business skills to upscale their wellbeing by the Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation in Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee, Obantoko Abeokuta Ogun State.

The Program which  facilitated by the Dapo Wahaab Foundation trained over 500 women and girls from 50 Communities under Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee in Odeda local government areas in Ogun State began intensive vocational skills and business trainings in Kebotash Hotel, Baabo, Ilugun, Obantoko, Abeokuta, with a mandatory apprenticeship opportunity for all beneficiaries.

According to him, the Chairman Dapo Wahaab Foundation, Asiwaju Dapo Wahaab said the training is scheduled to hold for a hole day and he noted that all beneficiaries who successfully completed the training will be awarded with certificate of participants.



"I am pleased about this project because I am really enthusiastic about women and girls empowerment as an empowered women is a powerful woman. When we empower a woman, we ensure her children's education, reduce the abuse caused by poverty, and ensure she is critical for increasing women's self-esteem, ability to make their own decisions, and right to influence social change for themselves and others", He started.



Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation is a non-profit organization Ogun State, that aims to empower underserved women and young girls from underprivileged communities in around Abeokuta and Ogun State at large as part of an entrepreneurship development initiative to provide empowerment opportunities to women and young girls throughout the State.

Earlier, in his Welcome Address, the Chairman Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee (ACDC), Oloye Dimeji Kehinde said he's thrilled to announce the training program for over 500 women and girls from all over 50 Communities in Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee, Powered by the Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation also facilitated by Asiwaju Dapo Wahaab Foundation.

He said, the purpose of the program is to empower women with skills and knowledge in Leadership and entrepreneurship from age 18-45 years. It's designed to equip women with the tools and expertise they need to succeed, likely with the goal of promoting personal and community development.

Airport Imbroglio: Ayinde Marshall Gets Six Months Ban

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has effectively banned Fuji  Musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshall K1 from flying from any Nigerian Airport for the next six Months . Michael Achimugu, the NCAA’s director of public affairs and consumer protection, announced the no fly ban on the musician during a press briefing on Thursday August 7, 2025 , a direct response to the musicians action and altercation with Crew of Value Jet and officials at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja  on Wednesday which nearly resulted into a major aviation disaster. According to him ,"the passenger is going to be blacklisted for the next six months flying in Nigeria." Concerns Over Plan by Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas to Announce Local Government Sole Administrators.

Concerns have surfaced regarding an alleged plan by Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, the Sole Administrator of Rivers State appointed by President Bola Tinubu, to announce new Local Government Area (LGA) Administrators on Monday, March 24, 2025.
