Not less than 500 women and girls have been taken through vocational training and business skills to upscale their wellbeing by the Jobberman Nigeria and Mastercard Foundation in Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee, Obantoko Abeokuta Ogun State. Recognizing the fact that  Federal High Court, Kano Judicial Division on the 24th of October, 2024 delivered a landmark judgement to affirm that it was Only the Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates presented  to KANSIEC by Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the senator representing Kogi central, says she will present evidence to support her allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. Speaking on Thursday during her appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, the Kogi senator said the evidence would be presented “at the right time”. “At the right time and at the right space, I will present the evidence that I have (against Akpabio),” she said. Akpoti-Uduaghan’s comments come after weeks of controversy surrounding her allegations against Akpabio. The lawmaker was suspended on March 6 for “gross misconduct” following her seating arrangement altercation with Akpabio. Afterwards, Akpoti-Uduaghan accused the senate president of making inappropriate advances towards her during a visit to his home in Akwa Ibom state on December 8, 2023. The leadership tussle within the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) took a decisive turn on Thursday as the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, dismissed a suit filed by a faction loyal to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, which sought to challenge the legitimacy of the party’s current leadership under its founder, Chief Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, and National Chairman, Dr. Agbo Major. The case, filed by Dr. Ahmed Ajuji and 20 others, aimed to invalidate the authority of the NNPP’s Board of Trustees (BoT) and its executive leadership, including Barr.
